Emergency Help Center for future disasters
About the Project
When earthquake struck, I was training in Kathamndu. Hotels and restaurants all closed. Suddenly I had no roof or food. I walked back to the training hall in two hours to spend the night. I managed to find some noodles in a small shop for dinner. Next morning there was one toilet for more than 100 men who had spent the night in the Art of Living training hall. It was a nightmare 24 hours. When I returned to Hetauda, I felt a need to prepare for future disaster hence thought of this project to shelter and feed 50,000 people in future disaster. I am going to an Ashram to learn how they manage their kitchen to feed 1 lakh people every day. I have talked to an engineer in Australia to develop an earthquake resistant design of a shelter. It needs million dollar fund but I have help from an international band for a concert in Kathmandu. I need to raise $5,000 to put deposit for them to assign a date and publicize for them to start raising fund for us. This is the best way to fund the project.
